Mt. Diablo

My Mount Diablo photographs cover appoximatly 85,000 acres. Mt. Diablo is in

central Contra Costa County in the San Fransico Bay Area. I have been

making images of the mountain and surrounding land since 1984 when I

started hiking Diablo with my friend Greg. Greg Piatt has created a stunning

collection of Mt. Diablo paintings. It is without a doubt the most

spectacular place I’ve ever photographed. My Mt. Diablo Panoramic book will be

published in October 2010. I just finished putting the book together. It is almost 400

photographs and represents 20 years of photography.
